Cecilia led Ian, who had been in the middle of a spar session, to the commander’s office.
Ian fixed his disheveled clothes as he followed her.
The woman didn't pay him any mind after the abrupt pick up, which was more comfortable for Ian.
It's better than her watching me and saying something, he thought as he glanced at Cecilia, who was walking silently.
She had a well-shaped body and cold yet eye-catching visuals; overall, she looked attractive.
"What are you staring at?"
“…Nothing.”
"Keep your chin up in front of the commander. He’s particularly on edge since he’s dealing with the Imperial Family through the magic communicator. Better watch yourself.”
Ian bobbed his head.
He had no plans of appearing lackadaisical.
"…Is that all I need to be careful about?"
"Just don’t cause trouble. You're in for a hard time if you do."
“Is this… a threat?"
“It’s sincere advice.”
Ian grinned.
He had expected she would only be cold, but that wasn’t really the case.
