The main character's sword soared high, trembling and pulsing with Mana.
A myriad of emotions was etched on his face; he swung as if he was straining.
As the sword came down, the Mana that once filled it vanished.
It fell to the ground. Its purpose was lost.
"Whoo..."
The sight of him breathing deeply in an attempt to calm himself made me feel a little strange.
He seemed different from the main character I knew.
The main character I knew would attack people, rather than hash it out via civilized discussion.
Why did he stop swinging his sword halfway through?
"I wasn't thinking straight. I apologize."
His choice of words alarmed me; although his attitude belied them.
What was I watching?
The main character apologized…?
