The knight who came with the Crown Prince went onto one knee and held the sword up with both hands.
The Crown Prince spoke while taking the sword.
"Raymond Millennium set an example."
Like the knight before me, I brought my left knee forward and pushed my right leg back, put my left hand on my left knee, and lowered my right hand to the ground in a kneeling position.
Tap.
The Crown Prince’s sword tapped my left shoulder.
Tap.
Then it switched to my right.
Tap.
He tapped me on the head and told me to look up. I carefully took the sword he held out with both hands.
"I look forward to your cooperation, treasured knight of the kingdom."
His smirk as he gazed down upon me was intimidating.
He didn’t regard me as a human but as if I were a thing. A treasure he was eager to pilfer at any second.
