Everyone was dumbfounded.
The confrontation had begun... No, that wasn't the appropriate phrasing.
It had to be the senior who made the first move. He cast his spell even before the mana orb hit the ground and released its power once it collided with it.
It was a fast casting, less than three seconds total.
But that kind of speed was pointless too.
"What happened?"
"This is insane. What just happened?!"
The senior toppled over and his magic circle was destroyed along with his spell. He couldn't respond or fight back.
Neither the students nor the teachers could see Raymond move.
They watched the Mana ball drop, and the wizard cast his spell at blazing speed.
And before the incantation could be carried out, the magic circle shattered, and the wizard collapsed.
It was only then that they noticed Raymond had somehow gotten behind the wizard at some point.
