It was dark.
Unlike where I was before, the place I looked to now was filled with infinite black.
The trees were thick, blotting out the sun.
It was fine up until this point.
Although it was dark, I could still see since the hatchling could use light magic.
The problem was elsewhere.
'How many of them are there?'
Several red dots were glowing in the dark.
They came from the dozens of eyes glimmering from the shadows.
Krrrr.
I heard the cries of beasts.
'Bears? No, this is more reminiscent of a wolf.'
I heard something similar at the zoo once, the sound of wolves going on alert.
However, this was terrifying and much more ferocious than I had heard at the zoo.
Well, that was fine too. It would be dangerous when the wolves gathered together, but it wasn't to the extent that I couldn't deal with them.
“No wonder I smelled dogs. The dog of Easton is coming.”
The problem was the red-tattooed warriors riding those bull-sized wolves.
“Isn’t this Kairos territory?”
Somehow, I went too far down through the Elves’ fores...
