A single word from Count Warrug had a more significant impact than my entire speech to Lanos.
Count Warrug added fuel to the fire, making his eyes go wide.
“I've felt this before. It would rather suit you to use your fists like the Mercenary King. If anything, that would be more threatening.”

Lanos loosened his grip on the greatsword, his initial resistance vanishing.
“And you never know. Your fists might better suit your aptitude. Isn’t it worth a try?”
Count Warrug turned to me and winked.
I nodded, affirming his statement.
"Yes. It seems that way to me as well.”
Lanos was still worried, but I urged him to not give him time to think.
“We have to move right now, so please decide quickly. If you say you will bring that greatsword, I will object.”
"Okay. I got it. I will leave it!”
Even though he screamed he would, he couldn't let go of the massive weapon.
When I tried to speak up again, he leaned it against a tree.
