What on Earth were these memories?
Why were these emotions, my very senses, bothering me so much?

I was assailed by a burning pain that caused my vision to blur.

But how could I keep my composure when these feelings that weren’t mine tormented me?
Knock, knock.
As my consciousness faded yet again, someone knocked on the door.
“I’m coming in.”
The door opened, and a man in leather armor entered carrying a water basin.
“Uh, Sir Raymond! He’s awake!”
He was delighted when he saw me awake and ran over to my side when he noticed I was panting.
He examined my complexion without paying attention to the water overflowing from the basin.
“Are you feeling uncomfortable? Does your head hurt? Is anyone out there? Call someone right now!”
He shouted at the door while he examined my body.
My head was burning.
He took the basin he had brought and pressed a damp cloth against my forehead.
