"Ugh. How many are there?"
Dozens of fish were skewered on Kyu-ha's harpoon.
Matteo, embarrassed, glanced back and forth between the harpoon and Kyu-ha's face, his pupils quivering.
"I mean, how...?"
Matteo prided himself on being the best hunter among the Lacandons, but catching fish underwater using only a harpoon was far from easy.
To make matters worse, these were outsiders.
They likely had never hunted before, yet seeing the fish lined up on the harpoon seemed surreal.
"Just as I expected, Hyungnim! I knew I could count on you."
"Wow. Seok-do Oppa, look how quickly you've changed your attitude, even though you were convinced he would fail just moments ago."
"Ahem. Seol-ah, what do you mean? I was simply curious."
Jung Seol-ah, looking at the suddenly changing Ma Seok-do, gave Kyu-ha a thumbs up.
