Ian had his eyes closed.
He was surrounded by numerous buildings, and in front of him stood an opponent that looked exactly like him, wielding a sword.
"Huff. Hah," Ian took a rough breath and raised Yseu.
His senses were being refined. He had become more adept at balancing fire and water, but it was still insufficient.
It felt like he would grasp it if he tried a little more, but it only remained at his fingertips.
"Please… it's about time it worked," Ian muttered softly, looking down at Yseu.
At the sound of his opponent stomping, Ian charged forward and swung his sword.
In an instant, flames and water burst from the double-edged blade.
After thousands of attempts, Ian succeeded in creating energy on both sides of the blade simultaneously.
He continually approached the correct answer and the next step, but he couldn't fully move on to the next level.
