I felt piercing eyes on me.
The people watching me didn't seem entirely happy that I had returned.
It was supposed to be a celebration because I had graduated from the Academy and caught a Reid, but some people were worried I was now a threat, as I had become strong enough to inflict severe damage.
Although they heard I had changed, many wanted to see how long that would last.
Everyone I spoke to was, however, astonished about my feat.
"That's crazy. It was a real Reid!"
"The Young Master caught that?"
"It's not just a Reid. There's also a Basilisk here!"
I had only brought back those two monsters.
The number would normally have been considered poor, but as the monster was a Reid, it changed the story.
This alone was enough of a trigger to launch my family's power to the next level, significantly improving the financial status of our territory.
