Goosebumps appeared all over me.
He had walked up to me without warning and accused me of hiding something from him, with a gaze that bothered me immensely.
"What are you talking about?"
I expected he would be dissatisfied with my response, but Ahar didn't react that way.
He had an easy smile playing on his lips, but the sudden change in his demeanor was already enough to bewilder me.
"I guess I was being rude."
"Did you eat something funny?"
"Forget how I behaved before now."
"Are you crazy?"
"Yeah, I've been acting crazily so far. I won't do so again in the future."

I wasn't getting through to him, and the way he spoke was creepy.
