As people gathered in front of the massive boulder, their expressions ranged from confusion to frustration.
Murmurs of "What the heck is this?!" and "Since when has this been here?" filled the air as they stared in disbelief at the formidable obstruction blocking the only road north.
The rock, towering at the height of a two-story house, seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, leaving people to ponder its mysterious origins.
I could slip past it on foot, but it was clear that the carriage would not fit through the narrow gap.
It was as if this massive stone had been placed there deliberately, leaving people to wonder who could have possibly moved such an enormous object and why.
"We can't use the carriage."
We got off.
