No insult was enough for this useless guy.
Mahol was that sort of individual. He was incompetent. He lacked the ability to accomplish anything and could not even defend himself from the constant bullying inflicted upon him. Initially, it began as a request from someone, but as time progressed, pushing him further became a source of amusement.
Calling him an insect so many times made us look at him as an actual insect, and beating the guy as he curled up soon felt like playing with a toy.
Jones, the Viscount's son, was on our side, so what would I be afraid of?
Not even the teachers could do anything to stop us.

That line of reasoning did not persist for long when an individual abruptly entered the scene.

His appearance signaled everything going wrong.
I thought maybe it would still be fine, though. I felt that if we flattered him enough, he would take our side.
