On the way back to Easton, Reims flew freely through the sky.
The trees moved out of their way as they passed.
Reims was in a good mood.
They always hid at my request, but now they could reveal themselves as they wished.
Although Dragons were called the masters of mana, it was difficult to hide using mana daily.
It was different if they simply used magic to hide, given Dragons were beings that could use magic as easily as they breathed.
However, what Reims had done so far was operate their mana by itself.
It was difficult even for a Dragon to assimilate all of its breath, presence, strength, and body into the air to conceal itself.
It was rough.
Reims had been suppressing their nature ever since they were born, all so they could remain a secret.
It must have been frustrating.
For a human, it would be like laying down in a coffin and remaining there daily.
It wasn’t strange they were ecstatic to shake off that suffocating feeling.
“You seem so happy.”
"Good! I am happy!"
Reims clung to my head and thumped my brow with their paws.
I smiled...
