As I trudged towards the meeting place, Beatrice's burden bore down upon my weary shoulders. Perhaps because I wasn't tense anymore, I felt the aftereffects of the battle coming all at once.
My palms were sore, and the back of my thighs and forearms throbbed.

When I was almost to the entrance, the knights came running in a hurry. And seeing Beatrice on my back, their faces hardened.

But ignoring them, I passed right by and went inside.
