I walked along the path made by the trees.
The hatchling clung to my back, unwilling to fall and touch the forest floor.
It was cute how they crouched to avoid the tree branches and grass.
“Welcome.”
After walking like that for about 10 minutes, a few Elves were waiting for me on the path.
Compared to their reaction to us at first, they were smiling so softly that it wouldn't be strange to think they were somehow replaced by others.
I went into the village, leaving behind those who welcomed me and asked if there was any difficulty on the way.
The Elves usually show hostility to foreigners, but now they didn’t react much when they saw me.
Instead, they greeted me with smiles, and some even had fruits for me.
"Humans! These humans have long ears!"
The hatchling came up to me and babbled as if frightened.
The appearance of the Elves with their long, pointed ears seemed unusual to them.
"Those humans are incredible... no, in my eyes, my human is cooler!"
That was a strange thing to say, but I tried to ignore the hatchling and moved onto the back end of the vil...
