I headed straight to the World Tree with the Elves who were guiding me.
I knew there was an issue somewhere in the World Tree, and since I had no idea where the World Tree was, the Elves' guidance was essential.
If I had been wandering alone, it would have been easy to get lost in the forest, where the terrain changes constantly.
I had to stay close to them so I wouldn't get lost.

Conversation was more likely to arise when there were more people in the group, especially if they were familiar with one another.
The Elves, however, were unusually silent.

I could understand why they wouldn't talk to me, but it was even more peculiar that they weren't talking to each other.
Maybe they didn't want me to hear their voices.
