The Count seemed to be in such a huge rush that he didn’t even have the time to tell me what was happening.
All I could do was allow myself to be carried on his shoulder and wait for him to let me down.
Time, although every second felt like an eternity, eventually passed, and the place we arrived at was Count Warrug's training grounds.
'What is this?'
I was perplexed as to why he had rushed us here.
“Block to your left!”
“What the hell is going on!”
My thoughts fled me when I saw the state of the place.
All the knights were gathered together, and for some reason, they were all bleeding.
I wondered if they had fought off an intruder, but they were the only people here besides the Count himself and Selina.
‘Selina?’
Selina was there, surrounded by knights, but her condition was strange.
She was panting heavily and was covered in scratches.
Her life didn’t seem in danger, but it was weird for the Count to leave her alone in that state.
“Wouldn’t it be dangerous to leave her like that?”
“It is dangerous.”
He nodded somberly as he let me down onto the floor.
