I had a long conversation with Baan.
By talking with him more, I was able to find out a lot of things about him that I would’ve never guessed.
To my surprise, he had a lot of ambition.
He’d just been hiding it since he lacked the power to pursue it.
‘There’s a possibility he could do this. He has potential, despite what I thought.’
Though ambition without any abilities or plans would only make things worse.
Fortunately, Baan had some excellent plans.
He knew his position well, so he didn’t waste time on unrealistic ideas.
Baan only focused on what suited him, the things he could do right now.
I felt proud that he could adjust quickly after I helped with his first step.
“We will continue this another day.”
Time flew past once we started conversing.
We had met when the sun was still up, but it had set before I realized it.
Turns out we had talked through the whole day.
“Would you like to eat? I’m getting quite hungry myself.”
Baan nodded in agreement.
“Let’s go eat something simple, maybe. We can order from the chef, and they’ll prepare it for us.”
“Alright.”
