Silence fell.
I would have stopped swinging my sword if they had spoken faster.
Of course, I had no intention of obeying even if I had briefly stopped.
But even after taking that into account, they said it too late.
"Ah..."
The elder's eyes widened as she stared at the decapitated Undead.
"Aah..."
She strolled toward us, grasping at her chest, but the Dark Wizards behind her glared at me, not paying her much attention.
The Third Prince bit his lips and couldn't bear to look at me as he stood in their grasp.
His face was slightly red with the shame of being caught.
"I-I'm sorry."
The Third Prince spoke through gritted teeth.
He tried to escape but to no avail.
A few bruises on his face revealed how he’d already been treated.
"I'm sorry, human. Couldn't stop them."
