The hatchling mumbled to itself for a while without calming down.
The bright eyes I had seen at first had disappeared, holding nothing other than devastation. At times, the hatchling seemed to stare blankly into space or react suddenly and without warning as if it were startled.
'What the hell happened?'
How could the hatchling's condition be so bad?
The hatchling was a dragon born with a fountain of Mana, making it untouchable to the average human or monster.
It had displayed a capacity for excellent stealth that Beatrice, a magic genius, couldn't detect.
The person that had driven the dragon hatchling to this point had to at least be a 7th Circle wizard.
'Could it be the Count?'
I'd only met two wizards lately; Count Skylar and my father, Count Millennium.
Count Skylar hadn't felt the hatchling's presence except when it cured me, leaving only Count Millennium on my list.
Why would the Count do that?
