Balthazar did not know yet what Kang Hyuk wanted. In order to find out, he believed that the course of action should be to be honest.
“We want the mana missiles in order to grow our power.”
It was a very direct answer. Kang Hyuk seemed rather surprised. As if sensing Kang Hyuk’s thoughts, Balthazar continued.
“What else would we do with the mana missiles? We’re not at an age where we would wanna play with it, and those aren’t toys. Everyone knows that they’re the strongest weapons in the Imperial League. If anyone wants it, it would be to enlarge their influence and power.”
Laekenois and Mayorga looked shocked that Balthazar was being so open.
“W-Wait, President Balthazar.” Mayorga hurriedly stood up from his seat. “Come out for a second. I think we should discuss first.”
Mayorga asked Kang Hyuk for some time and left.
“We’ll be back soon,” said Balthazar.
Laekenois, Mayorga and Balthazar stood outside talking.
“What are you doing? Why would you just admit to everything like that?” Laekenois looked at Balthazar with an exasperated look on his face.
