Bernheim’s spies were perfectly disguised using Neruva’s polymorph magic. The revolutionaries tried to talk, and instead of their own, they heard Merkenev, Walther and Frank’s voices.
Gunther and Bernheim expressed their amazement. “How impressive. I didn’t know a mage that could do this advanced of polymorph magic existed.”
“There’s no way they won’t be fooled, Baron Gunther.”
“Kang Hyuk, your idea was great. To think of using the war situation at hand to disguise our people.”
“It’s simple. They’re facing a battle too, so they won’t be paying attention to close details anyway.”
The spy disguised as Merkenev had a bandage wrapped around one of his eyes, and his face was dirtied with blood and small injuries. One of his arms were broken and in a cast, and his leg was wrapped in bandages too. It looked like Merkenev, but it would not be suspicious if he were unable to perfectly act like Merkenev. The same went for the spies acting as Commander Walther and Frank.
“Alright, you will now go meet Italy’s commanding officer, Luciano. They’re coming this way right now.”
A few hours later, the Italian army arrived at the camps...
