Taiwan’s guildmaster Jen Kangshui was commanding the war in the southern region of Taipei.
“Commander Jen Kangshui, Kang Hyuk has come to see you.”
Kang Hyuk had contacted Jen Kangshui through Yojimbo and Mayola with the offer to remove the Communist guild’s mage hiding within Taiwan. Jen Kangshui easily accepted the offer. Once they met, they got straight to the point.
“The mage that almost killed me uses dark magic. I know for certain because I saw him with my own two eyes. His mana wasn’t the normal kind,” said Jen Kangshui.
Jen Kangshui showed Kang Hyuk all the information he had on the mage he fought. Kang Hyuk handed the information over to the dwarf mages and Neruva.
“He should be pretty famous. Why doesn’t anyone know about him?” asked Kang Hyuk.
“That’s a long story.” Jen Kangshui began explaining about the mage. “His name is supposedly Kwan Fei. If we just look at his skills as a mage, he’s the best in the continent.”
Kwan Fei was a mage who dealt with dark magic. “His magic usually paints the hunters’ mana pathways with dark mana. Then the hunters’ bodies are contaminated and easily manipulated into illusory magic. Kwan Fei then controls those people like his puppets.” ...
