Yamazaki put his Localius back into its sheath. “How’s the situation?”
“Can’t you tell? We won. Most of Sydney’s a mess. The monsters are doing all the work for us.”
They heard the distant cries of the monsters from far away.
“What about the Chinese hunters?” asked Yamazaki.
“They’re retreating to Melbourne. Foolish decision. There’s no guarantee of safety there either.”
“They’ve abandoned Sydney then.”
“Was it Chen Kaifeng? He seems to be still in Sydney.”
“Why?”
“I don’t know either. Lanberg said he’s in Sydney fighting someone. We can go see.”
Frankenstroheim and Yamazaki took out their warp gate devices.
