The reporters’ cameras all exploded from the mana shock.
“Keuk!”
“What was that?”
“That didn’t sound like a normal explosion.”
Usambek and Lumallod let go of each other’s collar.
“What’s happening?”
Boom! An enormous explosion went off from behind where Usambek and Lomallud stood. The shock wave swept away all the hunters.
“Keuheuk!” Usambek shook off dust off of him and stood up. “Are these mana missiles?”
Usambek felt his mana vanish from his body.
“It’s an ambush. Get the guys together!” shouted Lomallud beside him. As Lomallud tried to get up, a light flickered across the sky.
“Get out of the way!” Usambek took Lomallud and ran off elsewhere.
The public conference stage was engulfed in light a moment later. With a monstrous noise, a shockwave swept over the area once again. More of the hunters’ mana disappeared with each explosion and shockwave. The mana missiles were Kang Hyuk’s. Kang Hyuk watched from afar as his mana missiles hit the plains.
