On the fiftieth floor of the double dungeon, Temple of the Phoenix, the owner of the dungeon revealed its true power. The Phoenix’s power was directed at Taehyun; attacks were raining mercilessly down on him, and having yet to decide whether he wanted to use Devour or not, Taehyun could only dodge and await an opening. He hadn’t been able to land anything that could be considered a critical blow on the monster.
The temple on the fiftieth floor was shaking like there was a massive earthquake. Those tremors traveled all the way to Ayeong, who was unconscious in the corner of the temple. ‘Hm…?’ Feeling the ground shake beneath her, Ayeong belatedly opened her eyes. Baang. Baang. She heard the sounds of nearby explosions. ‘Someone’s... fighting?’ There was a gap in her memory and her mind was blank, but her eyes quickly regained their glimmer.
Ayeong stirred and sat up, or tried to, to be exact. “What is this?” She looked down to see chains made of mana restraining her body.
