Detection channel.
It is a cable channel specializing in documentaries run by Detections Communications in the United States. As a documentary channel, it covers various topics such as architecture, military, economy, science, and nature. It was also an extensive channel broadcast in about 170 countries.
In Korea, various content was created through Detection Channel Korea. The Detection Channel selected 10 promising production directors through the First Time Film Makers (FTFM), and Kang Hyun-seop was one of them.

Kang Hyun-seop, almost in his late 30s, had been meandering in the broadcasting and film industry since the age of 20 and had been in charge of FD as assistant director.
But the broadcasting industry was not an easy one. Many so-called highly educated and talented people were likely to be kicked out, and less than 5% succeeded. Even at the top end of the production, it was common for terrestrial broadcasting producers, and even those who moved to outsourced production companies, to work for a small salary in an environment where the workload was ridiculously intense.
