“What happened at the banquet? I’ve been to the meeting at the headquarters, and all talk is about you,” Han Jeong-hee, who had come back from a production meeting in the morning, asked Kyu-ha.
She couldn’t be there for the banquet due to other work commitments, so she wasn’t aware of what had transpired.
“We just had some fun. Seems like they know how to have fun.”
Han Jeong-hee’s face lit up at Kyu-ha's words.
“Really? That’s a relief. I was worried that since you are the only Asian, you might have a hard time getting along with them, even if it's not about difference in race. But now that they’re already talking about you in just a day, it must have been really fun. You can sometimes be really good at interacting with people. Hahaha.”
Kyu-ha didn’t mention beating them all in arm wrestling and simply replied with a faint smile, “So, how was the meeting today? When are we starting?”
“The first shooting will be within a week. They say the schedule is a bit delayed due to finishing off building the studio. The location is Detroit. We’ll fly there in two days so you can get ready.”
