Pankration.
It was a martial art that had been around since ancient Greece, B.C., and it was also an Olympic sport that was taught to athletes by esteemed scholars back then to make it a perfect martial art, as typically fighting was left to enslaved people who fought recklessly.
All matches were conducted naked, with olive oil applied all over their bodies. In Pankration, all wrestling and boxing skills were allowed, except for scratching, biting, and poking the eye. Anything else was allowed.
This competition had no weight class, round division, or break time, so it was a brutal fighting match that lasted until one side died.

The dry, dirt floor and round, white border gave the impression that this was a stadium, and three red carpets were laid side by side on marble stairs. The round stairs, which appeared to be the stands surrounding the stadium, were jam-packed with people cheering so loudly that it was difficult to hear.
