Kyu-ha and Chic stood face-to-face with each other, staring themselves down as if searching their souls.
After a while, Kyu-ha strode towards Chic and stroked its face.

Perhaps because Kyu-ha's touch felt good, Chic made a pleasant sound as it exhaled.

Kyu-ha mounted Chic's saddle without incident.
