The Emperor's low voice resounded through his office.

Ian replied.
He wasn’t sure why the Emperor wanted to send him to Quatraon, but this was a huge opportunity.
A chance to visit Quatraon legally and without being suspicious? And he was going there by order of the Emperor, so he would receive support.
Ian couldn't miss this.
The Emperor chuckled and snapped his fingers.
The door to his office opened cautiously, and a servant entered.
The Emperor accepted the tea she served while Ian glanced at the teacup before him, then looked back at the Emperor.
“Try it. It has a great scent.”
Ian couldn't get used to the Emperor’s sudden switches in mood as one second he ordered him on a secret mission, then the next offered him tea.
'Well… Since he asked me to drink it, I should try it.'
