“…?”
Ian looked at Ariella with bewildered eyes.
She said she would make an offer and suddenly asked if he would come with her.
He looked at Ariella for a moment and then continued. "…But that means I will be affiliated with you."
Earlier, Ian said he didn't want to be part of a group and join in the fight of the nobles.
It didn't make sense that Ariella forgot about it and suggested such a thing.
"No, I'm sorry. I didn't think about what I was saying."
Ariella shook her head.
She smiled softly and began to explain again.
"The necromancer's appearance shook the empire's heart a little."
"A necromancer is a bit dangerous… I guess so."
Ian nodded.
Fortunately, he was put down early, as necromancers are a real danger if given enough time.
They could take tens of thousands of lives even if they were weak.
The nobles must have been shocked when such a necromancer appeared suddenly.
"The issue was so serious that I heard they had to ask the Holy Empire for help as soon as they heard about the necromancer's appearance. The situation has already been cleared up, though."
