Ian and Daniel walked through the passage in silence. They weren't sure exactly how it was made, but judging by the flow of mana, they thought a spacious, open area would soon appear. Perhaps out of boredom, Daniel spoke first.
"Do you think we can remove the Crown Prince from the throne? The news that the Emperor has already fallen has spread among the nobles, and power is now gathering around the Crown Prince."
"There's nothing we can't do. Once the Emperor rises again, that power will be dispersed, and if Ariella intervenes and joins hands with the Emperor, turning the Crown Prince into an enemy, it'll be two against one."
"To be honest, I'm worried. The Crown Prince seems to be hiding a lot, outside of just his Magi."
"I don't really mind."
Ian replied simply, running his hand through his hair. To Ian, the Crown Prince seemed like an opponent he needed to deal with, not someone he should fear. As someone who possessed pure mana, Ian couldn't help but feel a negative emotion towards the Crown Prince, who harbored Magi. Considering what the Crown Prince had done to Ian, it was natural for him to have murderous intent.
