A spray of water erupted as Mir swiftly twisted her body to avoid the creature that leaped out from the water.
Ian frowned and lowered himself.
"...What is that?"
The creature's mysterious shape disappeared back into the water.
Ian blinked his eyes, doubting if what he had just seen was real.
'It looked similar to a crocodile... but with fins...'
It was definitely not a normal creature.
Its size was comparable to Mir's, making it enormous.
If it were to fight the Kraken...
There would be a colossal clash of monsters.
Ian shook his head and drew his sword.
As he did, the creature leaped into the air once again.
Its giant mouth opened wide, barely missing Mir's belly as it closed.
"Grr."
Mir let out a low growl.
Although she hadn't been hurt, the fact that the creature had touched her belly seemed to upset her.
Ian narrowed his eyes and swung his sword.
The flames that surged from his blade reached out towards the monster.
