"Hey, watch your mouth, will you?"
A special unit member stepped forward and spoke up against the knight's provocative tone.
Ian wasn't particularly shaken, as he had already anticipated this, but the other unit members were both taken aback and angered by the blatant disrespect.
The knight let out a snicker at the special unit member's words.
He smirked and opened his mouth.
"Oh, I suppose I shouldn't be too careless with my words when talking about the lives of mere commoners?"
Ian's eyebrows twitched at the knight's words.
Looking down on commoners seemed to be a characteristic of the nobles in the region.
'It's unbelievable. This must be why their culture is slow to develop...'
No matter how outstanding someone was, if they weren't a noble, it was difficult to succeed in their society.
Ian was a special case, but an ordinary citizen would have been trampled by the nobles, unable to bloom and would ultimately lose their live...
