Cheong Su called Shita the Great Master Hye-jeong.
Shita's identity was one of the Five Elders of the World of Immortals sent by Cheong Su to find Wei Jicheon and keep the demon race in check.
He was from the Shaolin Temple, the same dynasty as Hyegwang, the Chief Council Elder of the World of Immortals.
