It's often said that humans only use about 10% of their brains throughout their lives, and most die without ever tapping into the other 90%.
The black space experienced in the conscious world was the 90%.
When I became aware, the boundaries of the mental world crumbled, and the white space encroached on the black space, expanding the conscious space I could move around in.
In a word, how much of my brain I could use had increased.
Of course, it wasn’t all of that 90%.
The encroachment stopped when unknown power dragged Buer away... so I didn't even know how much of the black space remained.
