I found myself in the world of nothingness within my distant consciousness.
The very place where I had witnessed the birth of the universe by the Demon God.
In one corner of this world of nothingness, I saw a figure of pitch-black darkness.
It was a formless, indescribable darkness.
I could tell this was the true Demon God, the primordial darkness.
The decadent and charming young man I had always seen before was nowhere to be found.
His voice echoed in my consciousness.
"Hehe, to think that something like this would happen... It seems that Gaia, who was once human, has been unable to let go of her lingering attachment. Did God allow this?"
"Did God allow it…? I don't know about that."
"Either way, it seems like this damned fate is finally changing. Or maybe..."
"Or maybe?"
When I asked, the Demon God's voice paused for a moment before continuing.
His voice, once again, sounded somewhat self-mocking.
