Nothing really happened on our way to the Academy.
It was a repetitive trip of going to the next village each day, sleeping in a good inn room purchased with the money sent by the Duchy of Widia, and then leaving early in the morning.
Because of Widia's pattern on the carriage, people sent fearful and awe-filled glances our way as they avoided us.
“There are no monsters.”
“The road to the Academy is generally safe. Isn’t it natural since we haven’t even left the duchy yet?”
For reference, we still hadn't escaped the Duchy of Widia’s boundaries.
The Academy was located in a trading city atop the boundary line where the Duchy of Widia ended and the Koharit and Goatan Empires, the rulers of the west, met.
'Well, it's a place only nobles go, so even if there are monsters, they’re probably only small ones.'
Come to think of it, it would be more strange if monsters did appear.
