That day, I had to pay the price for talking back to Eisen.
In the name of developing myself and the stamina I needed to handle my achievement correctly, I was beaten until I almost died.
“Hmm. It smells good.”
“Th-Thank you, meown!”
“What was that? You don’t have to make a cat-like noise.”
“O-Okay, meown! I-I mean, okay!”
Luna, the head maid, and Tessrun had to serve Eisen, who was flicking his fingers at me in the training grounds with a worried expression.
It was annoying seeing Eisen sitting on a luxurious wooden chair, drinking the tea Luna made, but there was nothing I could do.
“Ugh! Ouch! Gasp!”
Snap. Snap.
Eisen sat and flicked his fingers, and each time a fist made of mana rocketed my way as the sound reverberated.
While using my achievement and the heroes’ abilities I acquired, I focused on increasing my stamina, but it was meaningless.
